DIY Vintage Wedding – Amazing DIY Decor Ideas

September 3, 2010 in DIY Ideas & Invites, Outdoor Wedding Ideas, Rustic Wedding, Vintage Wedding by Chantale

This is kinda as good as it gets for us here at La Belle Bride.  As previously stated, this wedding is a personal fav of mine. Just a whole lotta rustic/vintage/DIY goodness. And as if part one of this rustic wedding wasn’t cute enough, now we’re back for more rustic wedding “punishment”. Charming DIY wedding ideas and wedding decor aside, I just love how much fun Krystal and Chris are having in all of these photos. ESPECIALLY the dancing shots. I love me some dancing photos. And they are GETTING DOOOWN in these photos. Good for them. You don’t fork out money on your wedding day to stand in the corner. I applaud Krystal and Chris for throwing it down as they should! Speaking of, I hope we’re all getting ready to throw it down this long weekend. I wish you all a HAPPY and RELAXING weekend. Mwah. xoxo

Vintage DIY Wedding – This is wedding blog heaven!

September 3, 2010 in DIY Ideas & Invites, DIY Wedding Ideas, Outdoor Wedding Ideas, Rustic Wedding, Vintage Wedding, Wedding Decor by Chantale

Clearly I have wedding issues. I love weddings more than the average bear. Guilty as charged. However I think even wedding scrooges out there could not contain themselves when it comes to today’s DIY vintage wedding. Gimme a break. This wedding is LARGE and fashionably IN CHARGE. It’s vintage, rustic and gorgeous in all of its DIY glory. And of course it is. Anyone who styles one of the cutest engagement sessions we’ve seen here on this wedding blog has GOT to throw down a killer cute wedding. Krystal and Chris’s barn wedding is sure to go down as one of our top weddings of the year.  The perfect yellow florals and tissue flowers, the rustic wedding tablespace, and the charming imagery care of Katie Day Photo. Sigh. It’s a good day. More to come from this darling wedding filled with amazing DIY wedding ideas!

Washington Wedding Shoot – Vintage Wedding Inspiration

August 20, 2010 in BEACH WEDDING, Outdoor Wedding Ideas, Vintage Wedding, Washington, Wedding Inspiration by Chantale

Isn’t this the perfect send off to the work week? An incredible vintage inspired Washington wedding shoot? Aubrey from Aubrey Joy Photography is clearly a creative and vintage-minded individual. I love the fresh fruit she uses to add a punch of color to these wedding inspiration photos.  The soft, muted colors of these images are just dreamy.  Happy weekend everyone!

A note from Aubrey regarding the inspiration for this shoot:  That shoot was so much fun! Its always so great when a couple gets as excited about a shoot as I do. The inspiration actually started from my parents attic. I am always looking for fun, creative props and themes to use with clients at shoots. Props can be quirky, but they always seem to allow the couple to feel more relaxed, fun…..themselves. I hit the jack pot when I found my great grandmothers HUGE old handmade frame, some old china from Norway, and a few more treasures. I decided to throw it all together with a pretty yellow dress, and whoola! Vintage shoots give the feeling of timeless images, I think that is why a lot of people are really drawn to them. Those images will never be “dated” or out of style because they are reflecting a jumble of different time lines and hopefully mirroring back the couples’ personalities in an artistic way. I feel in love with the idea of a tea party in the middle of nowhere. Before this shoot I had an idea in my mind of what I hoped the end result would look like… and this time I was able to accomplish it… ha, I love it when that happens!

San Diego Backyard Wedding – Wedding Flower Inspiration

August 19, 2010 in California, Flowers, Outdoor Wedding Ideas, Rustic Wedding, Wedding Decor by Chantale

Looking for wedding flower inspiration, are you? Well you’re certainly not alone. Picking your wedding flowers can be quite the task! Thankfully La Belle Bride is here to provide you with some fresh flower inspiration. Today’s stunning San Diego wedding, sent to us from Isari Flower Studio, showcases gorgeous wildflower inspiration in a backyard wedding setting. Ashley, today’s bride, was partial to a rustic theme so Isari Flower Studio focused on making her day a fusion of “class with a touch of whimsy”. The entire décor harmonizes perfectly.  It’s like a stinkin’ Pottery Barn catalog! (This is the highest of compliments in my book)  I’m fairly certain that on top of looking absolutely lavish, this wedding décor must have smelled heavenly!
