Temecula, California Wedding {Culture + Sunflowers}

June 14, 2011 in California Wedding, Outdoor Wedding Ideas by Chantale

I think we’d all agree that we love going to summer wedding. Sitting outside, soaking up the fresh air. Tis an especially rare occurrence for us Canadians. We jealously look on as our Cali friends dole out wedding after wedding of amazing outdoor wedding ideas. Keep them coming! Nutha and Glenn, our bride and groom today, opted for a pretty outdoor wedding in Temecula, California. Something tells me Nutha loves sunflowers! We don’t see sunflower weddings every day but today’s sure is a pretty one.  Between the vibrant yellow bridesmaid dresses, the sunflower beauty, and Mod Photography’s incredible photos, this all looks pretty fun, doesn’t it?  I find the first set of photos especially funny.  While the girls scurry around, the guys always manage to find a little time to completely chill out the morning of the wedding.  Humph!  The last thing I adored from this wedding was the musical duo.  How cute do they look?  Nothing assuming, or pretentious, just plain fun.

Cottage Wedding Ideas {BC Style}

June 8, 2011 in British Columbia Wedding, Outdoor Wedding Ideas, Rustic Wedding by Chantale

Our British Columbia friends know how to whip up the perfect rustic weddings, don’t they?  It just comes natural to them.  Seems like every week I open my inbox to another amazingly cute and quaint BC wedding.   Pemberton, B.C. is the locale for today’s little diddy.  Raylene  and Kevin chose a gorgeous private estate, the Drumkeeran House , as their reception venue and I’m sure you’ll agree that its cottage charm permeates through every photos.  Of course we have our fabulous BC wedding photographer, Chad+Anastasia Photography to thank for that.  They snapped up every last detail to perfection – from the birdcage veil right down to the button flowers.  Sorta giving me the cottage itch?  Tanning on the dock vs working for the rest of the day…hmmm.

British Columbia Wedding on the Water

May 9, 2011 in British Columbia Wedding, Outdoor Wedding Ideas by Chantale

We’re fresh back from vacation! And it was INCREDIBLE. We went to London then Iceland and both were completely rad. However I’ve been known to sulk about after my vacations so today’s BC wedding is like a little personal post-vacay cheer me up. I need some bright and exciting wedding photos to steer me clear of any post-vacation funks. And might I say it’s doing JUST the trick right now. Jesse Holland is the British Columbia wedding photographer responsible for these amazing images of Heather and Kristian’s Galiano Island, BC wedding. Between the bright blue sky and the crisp, clean water, it’s virtually impossible not to to adore this nature-filled wedding.  PLUS – ATVs and boats are involved.  Tell me this groom wasn’t in HEAVEN!  A total dudes wedding day!  So enjoy these incredible photos by Jesse while I try to forget the fact that I would be having a late afternoon cocktail right about now if it were still last week…

Louisiana Yellow Wedding {with doggies!}

April 22, 2011 in Louisiana Weddings, Outdoor Wedding Ideas, Yellow Weddings by Chantale

Yellow is still hot. Blazing hot in the wedding world. We recently did a 2011 wedding trend survey (the results to be released to you brides soon!) and yellow is still very much a contender for hottest wedding color. And I’m still liking it. Alex and Elliott’s Louisiana backyard wedding is a killer combo of fun-loving, light-hearted and fashionably hot. Oh, AND animal friendly? Can I just say that more animals should be invited to weddings! It really would make a good time, better. Ashleigh Jayne is our featured photographer today and it’s a pleasure to gaze over her fabulously creative photos this Friday. it’s the perfect way to star the weekend, wouldn’t you say? Getting inspired by gorgeous photography and amazing wedding inspiration. Enjoy the pops of blue and warm yellow details!

Colorado Outdoor Wedding {Sweet + Simple}

April 21, 2011 in Colorado Wedding, Outdoor Wedding Ideas by Chantale

Today’s Colorado outdoor wedding is so sweet and simple, that I’m moved to curb my usual long windedness in lieu of a shorter post.   I love this wedding. There is something so easy and natural about both Beth and Jamie (bride and groom) and the story these photos tell about their day. Christina Kiffney is the Colorado wedding photographer we’re checking out today and her work is seamless. From candids to couple shots, her wedding coverage is stunning!
