Planning a wedding isn’t something everyone was born to do.  Which is obviously why wedding planners (bless their little hearts) have been placed into this world.  But even despite the best planners and wedding professionals surrounding you and your bride-to-be, stress happens.  All the budgeting, the lists, the social events…it can get to you and your bride.  Sometimes you need to take a step back to take a much needed break from wedding planning.  A little distraction, relaxation and FUN can help breath a little life and excitement back into your bride.  So today we’re giving dudes five GREAT date ideas to help de-stress your fiancé.

1. Spa Solace – I know, I know…some guys aren’t exactly “spa material”.  But trust me when I say that spas can be fun and relaxing for both you and fiancé.
2. Animal House-  Who doesn’t love animals? A day at the zoo is a fun way to relax and not worry about the wedding planning for one day. 
3. Epicurious.com – Go to this site.  Print off a menu.  And follow the instructions explicitly.  I KNOW you’re not Julia Child but pampering your girl by making her a home cooked meal not only earns major brownie points, but it’s also a great way to chill out together.  Tip: Make it a no TV night as well.
4. Give Back -  Why not take the time to volunteer in your community? You’ll both feel great for helping out and it will bring you closer together. 
5. Kid Fun -  Remember how much fun going to the carnival was when you were a kid? A day at an amusement park or fair is a guaranteed good time. Win her an oversized tiger as a bonus (or slip the kid who works at the booth a $20 if you suck at fair games).
