Engagement shoots! Who knew? I had no idea before I got married that people even did engagement shoots. But then again, I also had no idea what parsley looked like. Or that carrots required peeling. But, I digress. As a guy you may be a little tentative to pose for more shots for your wedding. This week we have Dudesday’s Top 3 Reason to get Engagement Photos.
1) Get to know your photographer! An engagement shoot is a great time to get to know your photographer and to decide if it’s the right fit for your big day.
2) Practice Practice Practice. There’s only one way to get that blue steel look down. You gotta practice, bud. An engagement shoot is the time to figure out what looks work best for you and your bride. Also, if you’re blinky mc blinkerson, you have a chance to practice keeping those eyes open when that flash hits.
3) Make your little lady happy. As a guy, you may not be too keen on posing for more photos but just remember if she is happy, then you’re happy. Trust me when I say, you wanna make the lady happy, son.
