Simple Vintage Wedding – Part 2

More amazing shots of this adorable couple at their reception in Helsinki as photographed by Oka Morikawa. Looks like they danced up a storm. I get the feeling everyone had an amazing time at this wedding!

Milla continues:

I booked our venue, an old vaulted cellar, the moment I saw it on the internet, and even if I did that without seeing the place live, it was definitely the right choice. The stone walls, dark October night and lots of candles and white roses created the atmosphere we wanted from the beginning.

The day was perfect, and all of the important people around us made it so special. Food was delicious, there were many touching toasts, and my darling husband made every single woman in the room cry with his (I believe there were a few men with teary eyes, too…). After the dinner and cake we simply danced the night away. Everyone was on the dance floor, young and old, and we had a blast dancing to the tunes played by the two awesome bands! Now that I look back at it, I don’t think anything could have been planned better.

I’m so glad I have a bunch of wonderful pictures taken from that special day, I think they really captured the feeling of our wedding. I love the ones of me and my dad walking down the aisle and me smiling all the way. That about summarizes the whole day – I could not stop smiling. I felt so at ease the whole day, and wasn’t nervous or stressed at all. I guess I was more anxious – could not wait to finally get married to my best friend and true love.

Sigh. Too cute. I feel like they could be cake toppers or something!

Thanks Milla and Johannes!
